Salt City Sara

I created SaltCitySara as a way to share the vibrant and unassuming energy of Salt Lake City through a local lens. The account highlights everything from live music and pop-up markets to new restaurants, weekend adventures, and hidden gems around town. What started as a fun creative outlet quickly grew into a trusted resource for locals looking to explore the city in a fresh, inclusive, and approachable way.

Through curated event roundups, behind-the-scenes content, and brand collaborations, SaltCitySara has become a community-focused page that celebrates connection, creativity, and the joy of discovering what’s happening right in one’s own backyard.

I started the account in June 2024 and it has since grown to over 14,500 followers.

Finally saw Project Hail Mary at @megaplextheatres at @atthegateway and it was incredible. I read the book earlier this year and I’m still so impressed with the way they brought some of the concepts to life! And yes.. Megaplex still has the best popcorn 🍿 If you see one movie this month, I must recommend making it this one 🎬

Last week I attended a curated dinner at @botanika_slc, hosted by @florabelle_food. Intentional dining, a sober curious experience, and a table full of people who started as strangers and left feeling connected. Florabelle creates everything from private chef dinners to in home cooking classes, and Botanika’s space made the night feel warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. So grateful for spaces and experiences like this. Be on the lookout for more upcoming events at Botanika or book Liza and her team for a private dinner or cooking class 🤍

We’re all too busy, and being able to check this off my long list of things to do without leaving the neighborhood, is just so convenient.
